Republic Day Celebrations – 26th January, 2023

On Indias 74th Republic Day celebrations held at St. Martins High School - Hyderabad, the Indian National Flag was unfurled, followed by the National Anthem, March Past, and prize distribution. "Mile Sur Mera Tumhara" and Pyramid formations were performed by almost 180 students as parents were invited to witness the event. An alumnus of St. Martins -- Bhavesh Jaiswal accomplished an incredible feat of cycling from Kashmir to Kanyakumari -- a distance of 3,700 km in 23 days. From subzero temperatures of -4 C to a rainy Madhya Pradesh, to a hot Telangana to the humid Kerala, the group passed through 12 states aptly described by Bhavesh as the head to toe of India. He was honored by the school President, Mr. Laxman Reddy with a cash award.
